JAMMU, Dec 13: A meeting of House Committee of Legislative Assembly was held here today under the chairmanship of Speaker, Mubarak Gul.
Detailed discussion was held on various agenda points put forth by the committee which include up- gradation of the existing kitchen in MLA Hostel Srinagar, construction of second storey over the existing Barak within the premises of MLA Hostel, Jammu.
The meeting was also discussed to arrange the budgetary provisions for providing LEDs within the rooms of MLAs’ Hostel at Jammu and Srinagar and examine the issue of pertaining accommodations to the Members provided by the Estates Department, JKTDC, Custodian and Assembly Secretariat.
Legislators, G.M. Saroori and Balwant Singh Mankotia were also present in the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions.
The meeting was attended by Director Information, Sojuaniya Sharma, Special Secretary Legislative Assembly, M.R. Singh and senior officers of the Assembly Secretariat.
