SAMBA, Dec 1: Chairman J&K Rular Development Society (J&KRDS) and former Speaker Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul today visited Samba and listened the problems faced by the youth of the district.
The youth highlighted the major problems of unemployment being faced by them in Jammu and in Kashmir UT. They expressed that there is neither development nor the availability of jobs both in public and private sectors in Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Mubarak Gul demanded that the Central Government promptly sanction an employment package for the youths of Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that the present Government should have the empathy towards the youth and it should not show any type of biased approach towards them. He urged the UT Government that until a provision of employment is announced a reasonable monthly Stipend should be allocated to all the degree and diploma holders doctors, paramedics, engineers and all other educated youths during these difficult moments of COVID-Pandemic so that they may arrange their two time meal.
He further appealed to the present UT Government that every local J&K employment schemes should be instantly implemented and preference be given to educated youth so that their valuable talent should not be wasted and they should not feel contempt and deprived.
During his visit, Gul said that the situation in border areas is presently peaceful and expressed the hope that peace will prevail in future too. He demanded release of Border Areas Development (BAD) fund and its utilization for the betterment and other necessary facilities for border residents, farmers and other people. Gul also appealed to the people to maintain peace, brotherhood and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
In the meeting various dignitaries and members of J&K RDS were present. They included Younis Mubarak, chairman J&KRDS Youth Wing and People’s Help Group, provincial press secretary Subash Chander,Shabir Ahmed, Riaz Malik, Asha Malik, Majeed Malik, Farooq Malik and many others.
