SRINAGAR: Popular skiing destination and world’s highest golf course Gulmarg in north Kashmir was adjudged as best mountain destination in the country, an official spokesman said here.
Jammu and Kashmir Tourism department got prestigious award in Mountain category in New Delhi today. He said Union Tourism Minister Dr Mahesh Sharma presented the award to Officer on Special Duty (OSD) publicity Tourism, Shahnawaz A Shah.
Secretary RSGC Srinagar Galib A Shah and Secretary Jammu Tawi Golf course, Manav Gupta were present in a function organised by India Today group here today. (AGENCIES)
