‘Gumrah’ movie gets award at IFFJ

JAMMU, Nov 21: In ongoing International Film Festival Jammu (IFFJ), which was formally inaugurated by LG Manoj Sinha at Bagh-e-Bahu, a film made by two Lawyers Narinder Sharma and Umesh Sharma of J&K High Court got special recognition award for local talent.
The film touches vital issues of drone and drugs, exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and Article 370.
The jury appreciated the creative work of the film “Gumrah” with very positive message to youth and society.
The Advocates of J&K High Court Bar Association who have acted in the film are Bindusar Abrol, Srishti Paul Mengi, Abrar Sheikh, Abdul Ghafoor, Umesh Sharma, Narinder Sharma and others.
The Films and Documentaries from 29 countries were unveiled in this film festival where 59 shorts films, 14 Documentaries and 5 Feature films were showcased.
