Gupta appeals electorates to vote for Azad

JAMMU, Apr 11: Senior Congress leader and vice president of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Janak Raj Gupta today said that vote for Congress will be a vote for stability, peace and prosperity of country and J&K in particular.
While addressing series of meetings at Udhampur, Katra, Mukaini, Garhi, Kud, Christian Colony Udhampur near Forest Office, organized by All India Masih Seva Dal (AIMSD), Gupta further said that no one except Congress could give nation a stable Government, which was the need of hour.
“The country is passing through most sensitive phase and elections of divisive or communal forces to power would destabilize its economy in a big way”, he said.
Seeking votes for Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad Congress Party candidate from Udhamur-Doda Parliamentary constituency, Gupta further said maximum development took place during the tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad, which till date has remained matchless.
He appealed the electorates to vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad on April 17, to strengthen the Congress Party and secular forces.
Among others present were AIMSD president Camres David, district president of AIMSD Subash, general secretary Proshotam Mehra, Sunil Kumar, senior vice president of JKTUC Deedar Singh and AIYBO Varinder Mahajan.
