UDHAMPUR, Nov 26: Independent candidate from Udhampur constituency, Pawan Kumar Gupta continued his election tour and appealed people to vote for change and development.
He said that corruption has entrenched deep into our system. From the “industry” of transfers to looting of public funds, corruption has rendered the entire system hollow. The sun has not risen here from several years and we must walk hand-in-hand to save our bleeding, sun deprived and wounded constituency, he added.
He said that a serious vision was needed to uplift the town. He appealed the people to not get swayed by false promises and bribes as the future of their kids has been at stake from several years now.
Questioning BJP’s choice of candidate, he said that if BJP is serious about its Mission 44+, then it must field a smaller Modi from each constituency and not inexperienced people with little or no grass root connect.
Further, targeting the sitting MLA, he asked him to give account of his work in the past 12 years. He re-iterated his slogan of “inssaf aur insaniyat, Vikas Ke Saath”.
