JAMMU, Dec 1: Rajesh Gupta, BJP candidate Jammu East constituency conducted a door to door campaign in the area in and around Kanji House, Jammu.
The response of the residents was overwhelming and they assured full support to the BJP candidate in the coming elections. The affection shown by the people of the area resulted in several small corner meetings where Gupta had the opportunity to casually discuss the problems afflicting the area. The people expressed full confidence in the abilities of Rajesh Gupta, his contribution and good work in the development of the area.
Rajesh Gupta while addressing the gatherings said that the mission 44 campaign would change the destiny of the State under the great leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People have very great expectation from the new leadership at the Centre and there is an imperative need to change the political scenario in the States as well. It is now the turn of our people to convert this massive opportunity and sentiment into electoral victory for the BJP.
Gupta said, “I have been always taking up the people’s issues without any regard of caste, creed or religion. My support has a wide base in my constituency and I promise all sections of the society that I will strive for development and justice for all. I will have the slogan of Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikaas as my Mantra and would put it into action in my constituency in letter and spirit. ”
Those who participated in the corner meetings included Gulshan Mahajan, ex- Corporator, Girdhari lal, Surinder Anand and Gobind Sareen among others.
