Gupta expresses concern over whereabouts of newly born infant

JAMMU, Dec 17: Pradesh Congress Committee today expressed concern over the whereabouts of the newly born baby, who was abducted from the Shri Maharaja Gulab Singh (SMGS) Hospital last month.
Addressing a press conference, Rajesh Gupta, Senior Congress leader said that it is unfortunate on the part of SMGS Hospital authorities and Police Department that they have failed to trace out the newly born infant after a lapse of over one month.
He said that in-security of the infants in the Government Hospital is a matter of great concern and the hospital authorities should take immediate steps to keep hawk’s eye on the newly born baby lifters.
Gupta added that recently a one and half year old baby died in the SMGS Hospital.
“Police should register a murder case against erring doctor so that such unfortunate incidents may not occur in future and also teach a lesson to the doctors, who indulge in dereliction of their duties”, Gupta added.
