Gupta flays Govt for not providing basic amenities to people

JAMMU, Apr 16: Senior BJP leader, Pawan Gupta expressed grave concern over the failure of public representatives in settling the problems of the people.
Talking with a delegation of people from villages of Krimchi, Sorep, Mansar and Debrah who met him under the leadership of Dev Raj Sharma today and apprised him of their problems especially the scarcity of drinking water, Pawan Gupta took the administration as well as public representatives to task for ignoring the basic problems of the people.
Mr Gupta said though Government has sufficient funds for the development but the same are not being released for the welfare of the people.
He assured the deputation that he will take up the problems with concerned authorities as well as Deputy Commissioner Udhampur for appropriate action.
The deputation informed Mr Gupta that the people of village Kandel which is 15 kilomteres away from Udhampur town are still without electricity in this modern time of science and technology. They said supply of food grains on CAPD Depots is not up to mark and the supply system is also not proper.
