Gupta for registration of migrants from Jammu- Poonch districts

JAMMU, Feb 9: Pledging to fight for justice to militancy victim of Panj Saran area of Poonch, Member Legislative Council and senior BJP leader advocate Vibodh Gupta has said people of this area remained worst sufferer of militancy but they are still awaiting justice. He demanded registration for migrants of Poonch -Rajouri districts so that they can get relief.
Addressing gathering of Prominent citizens at Chandimarh area of Poonch district on Mughal road, Mr Gupta said that people of Panj Saran area comprising from Baflias to Peer Ki Gali and surrounding areas were most affected due to militancy. He said that majority of the people were displaced. He said that most of the people of this area faced the brunt of untoward situations in the area, however these people were not  compensated. He however said that Modi Government has agreed financial package of Rs 80000 crore in which one component has been kept for relief to Jammu migrants. He said that when the relief will be issued it will also be disbursed among migrants of Jammu  province.
Gupta however showed his concern on the non registration of migrants of Poonch Rajouri. He said all migrants and militancy victims of Poonch -Rajouri districts are not registered and they deserved to be in the list for getting benefit of relief package. He said that he will project their case with State and Centre government and will try to provide relief to them.
Terming Chandimarh area as most fertile in agriculture production, Vibodh said that the area was once known for production of walnuts and beans but now the production has decreased. He impressed upon the local farmers to come forward so that the legacy of the area is maintained.
Demanding tourism package for the area, Vibodh Gupta said that the area is located on Mughal Road which has bright future and government must concentrate on the tourism potential of the area.
