JAMMU, Apr 30: Former Union Minister and MLA Jammu West, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta today inaugurated newly renovated Community Hall at Ward No 27, here today.
The Hall has been renovated from CDF of MLA at a cost of Rs 7.5 lakh.
Appreciating the developmental activities carried out by Gupta in the Ward, senior citizens and prominent persons of the area said due to the initiatives taken by MLA, many works like black topping of roads, construction of lanes and drains and electrical maintenance which has been long pending demand of the people of the area has been met.
Terming Gupta as ‘Vikash Purush’, president JKDF, Jammu urban, Arun Khanna said during the tenure of Prof Gupta, developmental works in the whole Jammu West Constituency have been carried out on war footing.
A Mandir Committee was constituted on the occasion to look after the Community Hall and Prem Sharma has been made the president of the committee.
