JAMMU, Feb 22: MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta today inaugurated various developmental works at Jama Masjid complex Khatika Talab in Ward No 5. The works involve the upgradation of lanes and drains in the area and the cost of the project is estimated at Rs 3.5 lakh.
Rajesh Gupta instructed the officials to take up the project immediately and complete it in an expeditious manner.
MLA was accompanied by AEE Gurcharan Singh, AE R K Koul and senior BJP leaders Dalip Gupta, Sunil Dogra and Prof Shyam.
Rajesh Gupta in his address said that his endevour is to make Jammu model constituencies and the Jamia Masjid is a landmark area and needs to be maintained properly to ensure total sanitation and hygiene. He said the BJP will always be guided by Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and Sarv Dharam Sambhav.
