JAMMU, Mar 24: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta, today kick started a chain of civil works at four different lanes in Rajinder Bazar Gali, Panjbakhtar Gali, Raghunath Pura Mohalla and Shalimar Road Park.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that he never let the uncertain political situation in the State to affect his working. “Instead I redoubled efforts to take the developmental agenda to the grass root levels and the results have begun to show on the ground”, he added.
While discussing the development of the Shalimar Road Park, the MLA said that this area is one of the most important business centres of the city and as such needs a meticulous developmental plan. “Plans for the development of parking areas are being worked out and in the days to come work on the project would begin”, he added.
He said that the Modi Government has launched many landmark schemes for the development and upliftment of all sections of the society, adding the activists of BJP in the days to come would launch massive awareness campaign to create consciousness amongst the people to benefit from these schemes.
The MLA was accompanied by Health Officer, JMC, Dr Zafar Iqbal and BJP leaders–Pardeep Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Gulshan Mahajan, Ramesh Sharma, Ashwani, Rajesh, PC Gupta and many others.
