JAMMU, Nov 1: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) J&K general secretary, Rajesh Gupta here today pledged to eradicate spent forces and regional discrimination with Jammu.
“BJP has failed to address the genuine issues of people from Jammu region in the absence of elected Government,” he claimed in an interview with a local news channel.
Gupta further said that BJP leadership has failed on all fronts in J&K and the claims of ushering a new dawn post-Article 370 abrogation have proved to be a farce. “The development inertia, crashing economy, inflation, soaring unemployment, resentment among farmers and border dwellers etc has made the situation in J&K from bad to worse,” he maintained.
The BSP leader asked the J&K Government to reanalyze its decision of installing smart meters.
“The Government should take senior department officials, elected public representatives and heads of various social and political organizations on board to find an amicable way to meet aspirants of electricity consumers,” he continued adding that with each passing day, it’s becoming clear that BJP leaders from Jammu region have failed to give proper feedback to the policymakers in New Delhi and J&K BJP has no say in Raj Bhawan also.
He further claimed that BJP leaders seem to be unaware of ground realities.
