JAMMU, Mar 3: National Conference (NC) provincial president, Rattan Lal Gupta flayed Lieutenant Governor’s administration for allegedly limiting avenues of jobs for youth.
Talking to a delegation of border dwellers led by district NC president Samba, Sudagar Chand Gupta, Rattan Lal Gupta sought rollback of order cancelling the advertisements published before October 31, 2019 and resuming the process for recruitment in police organization which were cancelled at the last movement in the border belt.
He said that there was no justification for these harsh measures, especially as the youth had prepared themselves for facing the selection process after undergoing preliminary screening.
The NC leader sought launch of a special recruitment drive for the border youth in police and other para-military forces.
The NC provincial president termed ‘Mission Youth’ as an eyewash and said under the garb of such hypes the educated unemployed besides skilled and unskilled workforce are just being misled.
He sought a clear road map for filling up nearly 60,000 vacancies which have accumulated during the recent years due to the pathetic approach of the administration.
Gupta also demanded filling up of all the vacancies of doctors and para-medical staff in primary health centres and sub-centres in rural areas.
