JAMMU, Sept 7: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Naresh Kumar Gupta appealed to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to rescue the people trapped in flash flood and inundated affected areas of the State.
Gupta urged the CM to make arrangements for airlifting the officials, employees, people and labours trapped in flash flood areas of Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Gandoh, Bahderwah, Thathri, Chiralla, Bhella, Joura etc.
He also appealed for airlifting of the people from inundated areas of Srinagar and others parts of Kashmir.
Gupta sought personal intervention of the Chief Minister into the matter.
