JAMMU, Oct 17: Voicing his serious concern over the destruction of school buildings and those of the training centres, the former Union Minister Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta today said all this indicates that how much sinister are the designs of the extremists and agents of enemy of the peace and progress operating from across the Line of Control and the border.
Prof. Gupta said that damaging of the educational structure and those of training institutions is highly deplorable. The all concerned especially the Kashmiris should take note of it and frustrate the dangerous plans which are little concerned with the highly misplaced slogans of Azadi and that of human rights.
What is being perpetrated, it is clearly a move to play with the future of the young generation and drag them towards the path of violence i.e the stone pelters and gun totters, he added and stressed for the need to have realization that what harm is being caused to them and the Kashmiriyat.
Prof. Gupta also stressed for effectively plugging the routes of infiltration of ultras and smuggling of weapons as also the material of violence and that of destruction. For this, he said concerted efforts are required. Moreover, the enemy should also be made to realize that treading of path of enmity could recoil on them also.
He said that a strange phenomenon was prevailing, those who are calling for hartals, their own kiths and kin are in Government service or having education outside Valley or abroad but poor and young children are being mislead to become Jehadis and terrorists. “What a leadership and the movement”!
