NEW DELHI, Aug 31: Steady conditions persisted on the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market at national capital today as prices hovered at last levels in the absence of buying support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a similar trend as prices unaltered on little doing.
Marketmen said scattered buying support against adequate stocks position mainly kept prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,250-3,350, pedi 3,450-3,550, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,800, chakku 2,950-3,050 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3100-3,150 and dhayya 3,100-3150. (PTI)
