NEW DELHI, June 22: Dull conditions persisted on the wholesale jaggery market in the national capital today, following sluggish demand against restricted arrivals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also ended steady on little doings.
Marketmen said poor off-take and restricted arrivals mainly kept prices unmoved.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,600- 3,700 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,750, chakku 3,000-3,150 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3100-3,150 and dhayya 3,100-3150. (PTI)
