NEW DELHI, Sept 9: Steady conditions developed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market here today as prices hovered around last levels in the absence of buying support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also depicted a similar trend as prices unaltered on little doing.
Marketmen said scattered buying against adequate stocks position mainly kept prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,250-3,350, pedi 3,450-3,550, dhayya 3,500-3,600 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,650-2,750, chakku 2,850-2,950 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3050-3,100 and dhayya 3,100-3150. (PTI)
