NEW DELHI, May 6: Quiet conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today on scattered buying amid restricted arrivals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also displayed a steady trend in restricted activity.
Marketmen said scattered buying support along with restricted arrivals mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,600-3,700, dhayya Rs 3,700-3,800 and shakkar Rs 3,900-4,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,650-2,700, chakku Rs 3,000- 3,300, khurpa Rs 3,000-3,050 and Ladoo Rs 3,200-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,150-3,250 and dhayya Rs 3,300- 3,350. (PTI)
