NEW DELHI, Apr 28: Gur prices remained flat at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today as prices settled at their previous levels after some restricted movements on scattered deals.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also showed a similar trend.
Marketmen said, scattered demand along with adequate stocks in the market, mainly kept gur prices at the last levels.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,800-2,900, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 3,200-3,300.
Muzaffarnagar: rasket Rs 2,100-2,150, chakku Rs 2,250-2,525, khurpa Rs 2,250-2,350 and ladoo Rs 2,450- 2,550.
Muradnagar: pedi Rs 2,400-2,600 and dhayya Rs 2,600-2700. (PTI)
