NEW DELHI, Aug 3: The wholesale gur (jaggery) market held steady in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a tight range on small bouts of trading before ending at last levels.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also closed quiet in thin trade.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against current demand, mainly held prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya 3,600- 3,700 and shakkar 3,500-3,600.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,700-2,800, chakku 2,850-3,000 and khurpa N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3050-3,100 and dhayya 3,100-3150. (PTI)
