NEW DELHI, July 3: There was not much activity at the wholesale jaggery market today as prices continued to trade in a tight range in the absence of buying support and settled around previous levels.
Traders said absence of buying support from stockists and retailers against adequate stocks position mainly kept gur prices unchanged.
Following are today’s rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,500-3,600, dhayya 3,600-3,700 and shakkar 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,900-2,950, chakku 2,900-3,150, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,150-3,200 and dhayya N.A. (PTI)
