NEW DELHI, Nov 23: The wholesale Jaggery market remained steady today as prices moved in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile activity and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said lack of worthwhile activity from local parties and stockists against sufficient supplies mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,500-2,700, pedi 2,700-2,800, dhayya 2,800-2,900 and shakkar 3,000-3,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,450-2,500, chakku 2,300-2,500 khurpa 2,250-2,375 and Ladoo 2,400-2,450.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,400-2,450 and dhayya 2,500-2,550. (PTI)
