Gur rules steady in tight movements

NEW DELHI, Sept 9:  The wholesale market jaggery market displayed a steady trend in the national capital today as prices moved in a restricted range on lack of buying support and settled at last levels.
Muzzafarnagar and Muradnagar, also depicted a similar trend.
Marketmen said sufficient stocks position against restricted buying activities, mainly kept gur prices unaltered.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,600-3,700, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,700-2,750, chakku Rs 3,175- 3,275, khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,400-3,450.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,550-3,600 and dhayya Rs 3,600- 3,650. (PTI)
