SRINAGAR, July 28: Minister of State for Health and Medical Education Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today inspected SMHS Hospital, Srinagar and took stock of the medicare facilities available in the hospital for the patients. He also went round the wards and enquired about the facilities provided to the patients by the Government.
The Minister while interacting with the patients said that the Government has undertaken a comprehensive programme for augmentation of health infrastructure in the State. He said that the present Government has added a capacity of 300-bedded and 14 ventilators for the hospital during last 5 years.
Mr. Gurezi asked the Hospital Management to work with dedication and come up with the aspiration of the people. He said that the doctors profession is a noble one and they should deliver their duties with honesty and commitment. He also directed them to ensure cleanliness in and around the hospital.
