JAMMU, Dec 30: At a function organized by Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT) here today, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, Secretary Tribal Affairs Department was the chief guest and released annual calendar 2022 of the Trust.
Former Trust Chairman and Patron-in-Chief, Dr. Masud A Choudhary presided over the function which was attended by almost all the trustees, senior citizens, heads of various social organizations and others.
Mohd Sharief Chouhan, general secretary of the Trust delivered welcome address while Shah Mohd Chowdhary, Trust Chairman highlighted the brief history of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust and its achievements.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary gave a detail of various initiatives undertaken by the Department of Tribal Affairs for upliftment of Tribals.
Former Chairman and working Patron-in-Chief of the Trust, Abdul Hamid Chowdhary also spoke on the occasion.
Those who were present on the occasion were Hamid Hussain, Trust’s vice-chairman; Ch. Amjad Ali Secretary, Shouket Javed, Bashir Ahmed Noon, Mohd Yousuf Khepar, Bashir Ahmed Khatana, Dr. Saleem Ahmed, Saleem Mohd, Mohd. Anwar Advocate, Mohd. Aslam Digiana, Rafiq Kohli, Sardar Khan, Sajad Ali Chechi, Inzar Rana, Dr. Javaid Rahi, Khalil Ahmed Poswal, Nadeem Choudhary and others.
