KATHUA, Apr 29: A religious function was organised by Bhagat Puran Singh Social Welfare Society Kathua at Gurdwara Singh Sabha Dashmesh Nagar, Sawan Chak here today.
Mahant Manjit Singh Ji, high priest from Dera Nangali Sahib was the special guest on the occasion. Members from DGPC Kathua, Baba Kuldip Singh and a large number of Sikh community members participated in the programme.
Bhai Mehtab Singh Ragi Jatha from Jallandhar recited the Shabd Kirtan. And Sofi Gulam Hyder Qadri of Maler Kotla Punjab delivered the lecture on the Holy Guru Granth Sahib. Several social organizations of the Sikh community attended the programme.
Prominent among those who spoke included, Mahant Manjit Singh, former SGPB president S S wazir, and Surinder Kour, BDO Nagri in district Kathua.
