JAMMU, Dec 25: On the eve of martyrdom day of four sons of Guru Gobind Singh and Mata Gujri Kour, a Gurmat Samagam was organized with religious fervor at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Guru Nanak Nagar, here.
The programme was organized by Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and a large number of devotees participated in the Samagam.
Dhadi Jatha of Amrik Singh of Pathankot and 35 children participated in this religious function and they threw light on the sacrifices of four sons of Guru Gobind Singh by way of reciting Gurbani, Kirtan and reading poems.
On the occasion, Amrik Singh also highlighted brief history of sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons who sacrificed their life for the sake of humanity and religion. Dr Surjit Singh Raina (general secretary, Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) was also present at the occasion.
The programme ended with ‘Guru ka Langer’ served to the devotes.
