UDHAMPUR, June 3: A State level Manav Kalyan Sant Sammelan was organized by Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, here at Ramnagar under the aegis of Shri Shri 108 Swami Gurdeep Giri Ji Maharaj.
During the Sammelan, Swami delivered sermons ad emphasized on eradication of social evils such as use of tobacco, liquors, dowry system, corruption, etc.
MLA Ramnagar, Harshdev Singh and MLA Samba, Yash Pal Kundal, also attended the Sammelan. Both MLAs appreciated the initiative taken by the Sabha to organize such a Sant Sammelan.
President of the Sabha, Vijay Lochan, advised the Biradri members to follow the teachings of Satguru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj.
Other saints who delivered sermons include Sant Prem Dass Jassal, Sant Ram Paul, Sant Ashok Kumar and Mahatma Munshi Ram.
Sham Lal Basson appealed the sangat to attend the birthday celebration of Late MLA, Babu Milkhi Ram on June 16 at Guru Ravi Dass Mandir, Krishna Nagar, Jammu.
