SRINAGAR, Nov 24: Sikhs today remembered Guru Teg Bahadur on his Shaheedi Diwas and held prayers at various Gurudwaras across Kashmir.
Guru Teg Bahadur sacrificed his life for the sake of Kashmiri Brahmins at Chandni Chowk, Delhi. APSCC paid rich tributes to the martyr and urged that we should have same zeal to protect all religions and respect them at all levels.
APSCC chairman, Jagmohan Singh Raina, said the “Guru ji who gave up his life for Kashmiri Brahmins has been forgotten by the Brahmins”, adding “it is high time when Brahmins should tell their children about the supreme sacrifice made by Guru ji during the injustice and forceful conversion by the then Mughal ruler.”
