JAMMU, Dec 13: In connection with the Shahidi Divas of Guru Teg Bahadur, a function was organized by the Sikh community at Gurdwara YadgarThakur Bhai Rocha Singh, Nanak Nagar today.
The programme was organized by Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in which a large number of devotees participated to seek the blessings of the great Guru, who sacrificed his life for humanity.
Hazoori Ragi Jatha’s of Bhai Gurpreet Singh Shimla Walle, Bhai Inderjeet Singh Delhi Walle and Bhai Inderjeet Singh Sagar of Hazoori Ragi Jatha Sector 14, Nanak Nagar recited Shabd Kirtan/ Gurvani Path. Besides this, Bibi Varjeet Kour, presented about 33 children who recited Shabd Kirtan, Kavita and Gurvani Vichar on this auspicious occasion.
The entire programme was held under the supervision and guidance of Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji of Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch. Dr Surjit Singh Raina, general secretary presented vote of thanks. A community Langar was also arranged for the devotees on the occasion.
