JAMMU, Dec 26: The Safar-e-Shahadat programme being organised at Gurudwara Sant Pura Danna, Guru Nanak Nagar to remember martyrdom of four Sahebzades (four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji) concluded here today.
Four Sahebzades-Baba Ajit Singh Ji, Baba Jhujar Singh Ji, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji along with Mata Gujri Kour Ji rendered supreme sacrifice between December 12 and December 26, 1705.
Martyrdom of four Sahebzades is an important part of Sikh history and the occasion of their martyrdom is commemorated by Sikhs all over the world, every year in December.
In this regard Gurudwara Sant Pura Danna along with Sikh Sangat organised special programme from December 12 to 26 from 7 pm to 8.30 pm.
Various Ragis and Parcharaks from different parts of the country participated in the programme.
Dera Mukhi Sant Tejwant Singh, President S. Inder Singh, Vice President S. Jagjit Singh, Secretary Amrik Singh and Head Granthi S. Kulwant Singh were committee members who accomplished the programme.
