SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Governor, N N Vohra has been closely monitoring the situation evolved after August 9 incidents in Kishtwar.
Mr Vohra, who has been kept briefed by the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in the past three years, has appealed to the people comprising all the communities in the State to maintain communal harmony and peace.
Deeply disturbed and pained by the happenings in the last three days, Mr Vohra has also appealed to the leaders of all the political, religious and social groups and members of the civil society to urgently join hands to reinvigorate inter-community bonds and strengthen societal harmony.
