JAMMU, Dec 4: Governor NN Vohra is recuperating in Kashmir House at New Delhi after undergoing knee surgery at a hospital in Gurgaon and was expected to resume his duties here in the next few days.
Official sources said Mr Vohra underwent knee surgery after feeling pain in the knees for past quite sometime.
The surgery, conducted in a Gurgaon hospital, was successful, sources said, adding that after the surgery Mr Vohra was recuperating in Kashmir House, New Delhi as he had to go further check ups in the hospital quite often.
“Now, the Governor has almost fully recovered and would be back to work in the next few days’’, sources said, adding he continued to see files and other official work from Kashmir House.
The Raj Bhawan had informed the President about the Governor’s surgery, sources said.
