JAMMU, Feb 7: Governor N N Vohra has taken serious note of several reports that works are being executed by the departments without following the codal procedures.
The Raj Bhavan spokesperson said that Governor has directed the Principal Secretary Finance to issue clear directions to all departments to strictly adhere to the provisions contained in the Jammu and Kashmir Book of Financial Powers, Jammu and Kashmir Financial Code and Public Works Account Code.
He has stressed that any deviation from the norm shall be met with stern action against the defaulters.
