Guy Ritchie taught Charlie Hunnam jiu-jitsu

LONDON, Apr 8:  Charlie Hunnam said filmmaker Guy Ritchie taught him the basics of the Japanese martial art jiu-jitsu when they were on set for “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword”.
During an appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” the actor revealed that Ritchie is a black belt in jiu-jitsu, reported Female First.
“I did a film with Guy Ritchie about 18 months ago, who is a black belt in jiu-jitsu so I got into doing a little bit of jiu-jits with ol’ Ritchie. That’s right my friend,” Hunnam said.
When show host James Corden asked the “Pacific Rim” actor if he decided to take up the fighting style just because the 48-year-old director had, he said the pair used to practice on the set.
“Yeah, he likes to stay active on set and you know, just keep things fun, so we’d have ourselves a little roll around,” the 36-year-old star said. (PTI)
