JAMMU, Mar 17: SDPO West Pranav Mahajan today held a meeting with the gym and pool owners of the Jammu city. The meeting was held in the backdrop of various issues related to the gyms and the pools.
Pranav Mahajan asked the owners to get the police verification done of their staff members. They were also asked to maintain complete and transparent record of all the members. They were also asked to install good resolution CCTV cameras both inside and outside the gyms and the pools so that proper surveillance can be maintained.
In the context of increasing traffic problems, Pranav urged them to maintain proper parking space with people to man the parked vehicles. They were also told to install proper fire fighting systems.
In the light of the increasing complaints regarding eve-teasing, the gym owners were told to employee female trainers and staff members and were also asked to report any such incident to the police immediately. They were also asked to regulate the use and to allow only the prescribed and safe food supplements.
Pranav impressed upon them to introduce various ways and techniques of maintaining mental and spiritual health like conducting yoga classes, outdoor events and motivational talks.
