DODA, Apr 14: Police here today under the overall supervision of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta has taken strict action against a habitual offender and has booked him under Section 129 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
Giving details in this regard, sources said that the offender Nittan Kumar, son of Sat Pal, resident of Kandoth Charya, presently at Thathri was booked under Section 129 of BNSS by Police Station Thathri and he was produced before the Executive Magistrate Thathri who send him for preventive detention at District Jail Bhaderwah.
The habitual offender was involved in repeated criminal activities.
