UDHAMPUR, May 29: Devastating hailstorms that hit several areas of Jammu region during the last two days, have caused huge loss to the farmers of Panchari Lander and Bhamag.
Crops, vegetables, fruits, flowers and other agricultural flora have been badly damaged in the hailstorms and the affected people have appealed the administration to assess the agricultural as well as horticultural losses and to provide them compensation on humanitarian grounds.
