JAMMU, Apr 26: Veer Ji Hangloo, Mission Director, ICDS J&K was today given the additional charge of Managing Director, SC, ST, BC Corporation.
The post of MD of the Corporation had fallen vacant since March 31 this year after the retirement of R K Pandita. The VC of the Corporation took up the issue with Minister of Social Welfare and Science and Technology, Sajjad Gani Lone yesterday and informed him that the functioning of the official business in the Corporation has suffered for last about one month with the retirement of the MD.
He stressed the need of posting of new incumbent to the office at an earliest so that the people visiting the office in connection with various loan schemes do not face problems.
To make the Corporation run smoothly the Minister assigned additional charge to Mr Hangloo.
