SRINAGAR, May 8: Emphasizing on speedy completion of all developmental projects under execution so that people across the State are benefitted at large, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq Khan today asked officers and executing agencies to work with spirit of public welfare and social responsibility for ensuring success in implementation of these projects.
The Minister said this while chairing an officers meeting convened to discuss implementation of various ongoing developmental projects, besides issues regarding progress of health institutions in district Kupwara.
Legislator, Raja Manzoor besides, Chief Engineer, R&B, Managing Director, JKPCC, Kashmir, Director Family Welfare, Deputy Director Health Services, Kashmir and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
The Minister asked officers to take all aspects in consideration while formulating design and DPRs of developmental projects and make sure project would be useful and purposeful for the people. He said collective efforts should be made to contribute and deliver best for the welfare and progress of the State.
Mr. Haq directed officers to have frequent inspections of project sites to ensure success in implementation of all Government sponsored welfare and developmental progammes for the benefit of people.
