POONCH, May 14: Harbhajan Singh from Daily Excelsior has been elected as president of Poonch Working Journalists Association.
In a meeting of the scribes from print and electronic media held at Krishan Chander Park, Poonch today, the new office bearers for Poonch Working Journalists Association were unanimously elected. Harbhajan Singh from Excelsior was elected as president while Narinder Singh Talwar as chairman and Pardeep Khanna as vice chairman.
Koushal Sharma and Yaseen were elected as vice presidents, Ishrat Bhat as general secretary, Wajahat Bukhari and Sandesh Mishri as joint secretaries, Randhir Singh and Bashir Ahmed as cashiers while Ahtesham Bhat as publicity secretary of the Association. The executive body members included- Shahzad Bhat, Zahir Abbas, Tilak Raj, Manjeet Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Jahangir Sheikh, Amarjeet Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Bashir Ahmed, Sohail, Ajaz Ahmed and Faisal Nomani.
