MBAT honours meritorious students

JAMMU, Aug 18: Prof (Dr) Manoj Dhar, former VC and Director, Department of Biotechnology, University of Jammu along with a galaxy of educationists and scholars including Anil Bhat, social activist and senior journalist; Prof Shiv Prashad Raina, spiritual guru; Sakshi Raina Tiku, Human Resource Expert and Sachin Tickoo, Trade Union leader guided hundreds of students in resolving personal and psychological problems to achieve professionalism to blossom in future.
Prof Dhar and other dignitaries bestowed valuable tips to big number of KP youth in an impressive and well-attended programme organised by Mata Bhaderkali Asthapan Trust (MBAT) in Asthapan premises at Thalwal, near here.
While explaining the future career options for the students, Prof Dhar urged them to work hard whatever field they opt in future as per their choice. “Hardwork and devotion is the mantra of success,” added Dhar
Prof Shiv Prashad Sharma threw light on spiritual aspects and their impact on one’s life.
Quoting a few verses of Bhagwat Gita, Prof Sharma preached on spirituality and ‘Karma’ and said that Karma is the ladder to get success in life.
Anil Bhat also bestowed career tips to the students in his typical journalistic way.
Sakshi Raina Tiku threw light on human resources of the organisations and their importance in future.
She alongwith other scholars satisfied students with appropriate answers to their queries.
Meanwhile, 96 meritorious students across Jammu were given prizes and were honoured with certificates of appreciation by the chief guest and president of MBAT on the occasion.
Ashok Kaw, general secretary MBAT spoke on the vision of the Trust.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Payal Bhat, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Dilip Pandita, president of Asthapan Committee.
