KATHUA, Mar 1: Kathua police has arrested one criminal involved in series of crimes under Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged him in Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu today.
Police said one person namely Kamaldeep Singh @Rinku, son of Swaran Singh of Jasrota tehsil and district Kathua being involved in series of criminal activities who is also a hard core criminal and is involved in Kidnapping cases including serious offences as well as organised crime that disrupt peace in the area and endangered human life with disturbance in public order was arrested today.
Police has registered a case against him under various FIRs in different police stations, police said. He has been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and lodged in Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal, Jammu, police said.
Police said his arrest was made by the team led by Inspector, Rajeshwer Singh Slathia, SHO, Police Station (PS) Rajbagh under the supervision of SDPO, Border, Chadwal, Deeraj Katoch under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua, Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
