DODA, Dec 4: To curb terror related activities in Doda district, the police here today detained a hardcore Over Ground Worker (OGW), Mohd Irfan, son of Tariq Hussain, resident of Kanhal Bajarni, tehsil Bhagwah, district Doda under Public Safety Act (PSA).
The OGW has been lodged in jail following a detention order from District Magistrate, Doda.
A handout stated that the OGW was involved in un-lawful activities and was promoting the network of terrorism to get District Doda again trapped in the net of militancy on the behest of terror handlers operating from across.

The OGW was operating in a very dubious manner and his activities were constant threat to the society at large and were prejudicial to peace, tranquility and security of the region.
He was warned a number of times to desist from anti-national activities but he didn’t changed his behavior.
Accordingly, after obtaining detention order from District Magistrate Doda, the OGW was detained and lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu.
