Hari Prabhu Sansthan organizes free eye check up camp

KATHUA, Mar 11: Hari Prabhu Sanstha in collaboration with KLSM Roptary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur today organized an eye check up and screening camp at its Ashray Nagrota Gujroo , Tehsil Ramkot IN district Kathua.
A medical team from Rotary Hospital Udhampur led by well know Ophthalmologist, Dr Ankur Goel examined 105 patients from remote and other backward areas of tehsil Billawar, Ramnagar, Ramkot and Majalta. Out of them 23 patients were screened for implantation of IOL, which will be implanted free of cost at the Rotary Hospital Udhampur on March 14.
During the camp, eye drops and medicines were distributed free of cost. On this occasion, Sanstha donated Rs 5100 for the welfare fund of Rotary Hospital. Dr Goel and Sanstha president, S C Gupta assured that such services will continue in future too for prevention of blindness in the area.
Dr Goel, while highlighting the services rendered by Rotary Hospital for the humanity said it is doing a yeoman’s job.
I D Soni chief patron of the Sanstha, Kuldeep Gupta, K L Gupta , Dev Kumar, Subash Gupta, Vijay Verma, Surinder Mohan Mahajan, P N Jalla, Dr Kuldip Padotra, Ajit Singh Bhadwal and other members were present.
