JAMMU, July 30: The long-awaited Harley-Davidson X440 was today unveiled at Ridges Harley Davidson (Jamkash Biking), Channi Himmat, Jammu.

DIG Traffic, Sridhar Patil, unveiled the bike in the presence of SSP Traffic, Faisal Qureshi, Chirag Chawla, Senior Manager – Sales, and Dealer Development Harley Davidson, along with Harley Owners Group (HOG) members, bike enthusiasts, media, and Ridges Harley Davidson team.
Sridhar Patil, DIG Traffic, praised the all-new X440, representing Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson’s foray into the 440cc segment in India. He emphasized the bike’s unique value proposition, catering to a wider range of motorcycle enthusiasts, and stressed the importance of road safety, urging riders to adhere to protective gear and traffic rules.
Faisal Qureshi, SSP Traffic, Jammu, highlighted the sturdiness and comfort of the Harley-Davidson X440, assuring an unparalleled riding experience for bike lovers in J&K. He emphasized wearing helmets and adhering to traffic regulations for safe riding.
Chirag Chawla, Senior Manager, Sales & Dealer Development Harley Davidson, described the Harley-Davidson X440’s dominance on the road, featuring a distinct design, solid all-metal frame, and formidable motor, making it quick and agile in traffic.
At its core, the X440 boasts a groundbreaking 440cc oil-cooled, long-stroke BSVI (OBD II), and E20-compliant engine, a first for Hero MotoCorp, with an impressive power output of 27 bhp and maximum torque of 38 NM. The motorcycle’s flat torque curve ensures peak torque available from as low as 2000rpm.
Loaded with advanced features like ignition, panic, crash, topple, and low fuel alerts, theft and battery removal alerts, geofence and driving alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, and find my vehicle, the Harley-Davidson X440 excels in both value and performance.
The motorcycle will be available in three variants – Denim, Vivid, and S, starting at Rs 2.29 lakh (Denim) at Ridges Harley-Davidson, Jamkash Biking, Jammu, with multiple colour options.
