Harmony India releases Sanskrit prayer on World Music Day

JAMMU, June 22: Amidst the crisis the world is going through, World Music Day was celebrated with the release of a Sanskrit Prayer “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu” featuring some beautiful artists from different places of the world in collaboration with Indian Harmonies Choir, composed and conducted by Singer-Music Composer Saurabh Zadoo at New Delhi.
This was the composer’s first international collaboration conducted during the pandemic time and was released in video on his YouTube Channel. The artists featured recorded the music for the prayer at their respective places with all the precautionary measures and guidelines.
Clarice Rarity(London) playing Violin, Andreas(Russia) playing Sitar, Arjun Achari playing Veena, Vishal Bhardwaj playing Tabla, Sarang Ahuja on Keys, Ajay Paras on Guitar from India in collaboration with Indian Harmonies Choir not only made the music melodious with their accompaniment but were applauded for their performance and efforts by the music connoisseurs. The video edits were done by Akanksha Zadoo and produced by Harmony India.
“In times of great change and global uncertainty, we are sometimes at a loss to find stability and peace within. Yet, we are supported endlessly by the wisdom of the ages” said Saurabh Zadoo.
Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a mantra of power that assists us in our spiritual evolution and acts as a blessing for the world, he added.
Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu is a sanskrit mantra which means:”May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
With these initiatives, the composer believes to heal and spread more joy, peace, prosperity and love in the world.
